Welcome to COM1005: Visual Composition!

The principles and elements of design are central to building a strong foundation in the creation of visual messages. In this course, you will gain an understanding of the technical and creative aspects of design, typography, and visual composition as well as gaining familiarity with the technologies used in the creation of visual messages in preparation for other Communication Technology courses.
 

This course is designed to guide you through a series of learning experiences. It will present you with the knowledge to analyze visual messages for their meaning and impact and then give you an opportunity to apply your knowledge in the creation of your own visual messages using a variety of different media.
