Graphic: Of or relating to written and/or pictorial representation. Generally, a graphic contains text or other elements that make it more than a plain photograph.
Image: An image is the reproduction of a form, object or group of objects. The medium that the image is reproduced with will determine the number of dimensions that can be reproduced. For example, an image on a two dimensional page will not exactly reproduce the three dimensional form of a person.
Media: (usually used with a plural verb ) the means of communication, as radio and television, newspapers, billboards, web pages, and magazines, that reach or influence people widely: The media are covering the speech tonight.
Medium: The physical or electronic substance through which something else is transmitted or carried on. The plural of medium is media.
Message: The idea that a designer puts in an image that they intend the viewer to understand by looking at the image.
Page: One page of paper of the standard size for the work. Most pages in North America are letter size- eight and a half by eleven inches. In the rest of the world, the standard page is A3, which is narrower and longer than letter size.
