Course Final Project
Introduction
The COM1005: Visual Composition final course project is a summative assessment. You will need to apply the theory and knowledge that you have gained from working through this course and demonstrate your learning through a media of your choosing. Depending on what equipment is available, what level of familiarity you have with various technologies for creating visual compositions and where your interests lie, you will have a wide range of options for completion of this final project.
For your final project in this course, you are tasked with creating a print magazine cover. You may select which type of publication your magazine cover is for and what (if any) headlines you wish to include. Your challenge is to create a magazine cover that will grab the viewer's attention on a magazine rack in a store and make the viewer "want": to read the magazine. The main subject of your magazine cover will be YOU! It is up to you what headlines are included.
You will be expected to present your work to an audience so it is necessary to ensure that you comply with your community’s standards. Consult with your teacher if there is any doubt as to what is not acceptable.
