Training Room 1 Project (JPP)
Introduction
For the Training Room 1 Project, you will be tasked with creating a Google Slide presentation. Using the internet, search for illustrative examples of each design element that you believe best exemplifies that particular element of design. Create a Google Slide document and share it with your teacher. Make sure to name the Slide document “COM1005 TR1_studentname”. If using an image obtained from a third party, then you must also provide an acknowledgment of where you obtained the image.

Project Assessment
This is a formative assessment and is intended for you to practice your skills until you are proficient in the identification and description of the various elements of design. Your evaluation will be based on the Design Elements Rubric found in the Toolkit. Before you begin work on your project, you are advised to preview the rubric and the expectations for this project. You will be able to resubmit your project after receiving critical feedback from your teacher or classmates.
Directions
Throughout Training Room 1, you have been learning about the many different elements of design. To complete the requirements for the Training Room 1 Project, complete the following steps for each element of design:

Label each slide in your Google Slide document with a design element.

Copy/insert that image onto your slide. Provide the URL for where the image was obtained from.

Provide a brief textual description of how your selected image illustrates the element of design.
Project Summary
You have now completed the Training Room 1 Project on elements of design. From the learning that you engaged in throughout the training room, you have successfully distilled the main concepts involved in design elements and have created a visual display that clearly illustrates each design element and their possible impact in a visual message.
If you do not receive an evaluation that is satisfactory, you should examine the Design Elements Rubric and consider what you can do to improve your project. After making any changes, resubmit your project to your teacher.
