Students will identify and discuss the elements and principles of design in a variety of visual media. An examination of typography as it relates to the use of text in visual messages. Students will then have an opportunity to produce visual compositions using a variety of media that will allow them to combine many elements and principles of design and typography to produce the desired impact and intent of the message. Students will be also expected to present their work to an audience and to participate in peer assessment and critiquing of their work and the work of others.
